Head of Building Law, Municipal Buildings and Real Estate (m/f/d)

As an official management, you take over the overall responsibility for the Baurecht, municipal buildings and properties with currently three property areas as well as the technical management of the own-owned Stadtwohnung Stutensee. Your tasks include: Management, organisation and strategic development of the Office including personnel, budget and resource responsibility Responsibility for planning, construction, entertainment and management of municipal buildings and property management Control and coordination of all tasks of construction law, in particular building regulations and construction planning law Perception of the building function for municipal building measures including cost, appointment and quality control Principle decisions and technical support for complex construction and property issues Preparation and implementation of decisions of municipal bodies and regular reporting Representation of the Office to political bodies, authorities, planning offices, specialist engineers and external contractors Ensuring legal, economic and sustainable performance Initiation and support of organisational, digitization and optimization processes in the office We reserve the right to change the assignment.

You have a completed academic degree (Master/Diplom-Uni) of the disciplines Architecture, Civil Engineering (Building Center) and a comparable degree or career qualification for the higher non-technical administration service. In addition, applicants can also be taken into account with a relevant bachelor's degree of the senior management service, provided that the personal, professional and runway requirements are available for a perspective performance of tasks of the higher service. You provide multiannual relevant professional experience, ideally in a senior role within a municipal administration or a comparable public institution You have a well-founded knowledge of public building and planning law as well as building regulations law and municipal budget and procurement law You have experience in the field of municipal building, building management and/or property management You are characterized by strong leadership, decision-making and a high level of responsibility You have good organisational skills and a structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working You will appear safe and binding and convince by your negotiation skills and your strong communication skills You are willing to cooperate constructively and trustfully with the management, political bodies and external partners
