Operation of membrane filtration systems Structure, assembly and operation of ceramic membrane filtration systems in laboratory scale Conducting filtration experiments according to SOPs and project plans Monitoring and documentation of relevant operating parameters (e.g. flow, transmembrane pressure, turbidity, TSS, pH, COD) Conducting cleaning, regeneration and backwashing cycles while maintaining safety and quality standards Laboratory operation, maintenance & safety Ensuring order, cleanliness and work safety in the laboratory Compliance with safety requirements for chemical handling, waste disposal and personal protective equipment Security inspection and laboratory audit support Coordination and implementation of mechanical and electrical maintenance work on pumps, power supplies and laboratory equipment Support for troubleshooting and minor repairs on test equipment Calibration & documentation Calibration and maintenance of sensors and analysis equipment (e.g. pressure sensors, flow meters, conductivity, cloudiness) Structured recording, documentation and storage of experimental data in digital systems Support in the preparation of technical evaluations and internal reports Cooperation & Organization Close cooperation with Application Engineers and Ceramic R&D Working with internal projects and pilot experiments Support in documentation for quality and certification processes Monitoring of laboratory stocks (consumption materials, spare parts, chemicals) Support for procurement requests to ensure a smooth laboratory operation
Complete Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a comparable technical degree course Additional training or training in the field of water treatment, membrane technology or laboratory operation Experience in operation and maintenance of filtration systems as well as in data acquisition and sensor calibration desirable Safe handling of laboratory and measurement technology (pumps, pressure sensors, flow meters, pH/controller sensors) Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly, fluidics and electrical troubleshooting of laboratory or pilot plants Structured, careful and detailed operation High security awareness and practical hand-on mentality Ability to work independently and to contribute well into an interdisciplinary team Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing
