Senior System Engineer - Servermonitoring (m/f/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. Senior System Engineer - Servermonitoring (m/w/d) from now on and in full time in Bonn, Berlin, Munich, Neubrandenburg or Potsdam (Schwielosee). The Deployment & Tool Operations division provides the basis for the smooth operation of managed servers within the BWI. It provides servers with various current operating systems based on baremetal and virtual servers in the data centers and decentralized server locations. In addition, it is also for the operation of the highly complex tool landscape such as for monitoring the servers, patch management, event monitoring, logging, out-of-band infrastructure and hardware operation responsible.

Operation of task-specific tools in monitoring of servers, especially withels SCOM and CheckMK Incident, Change and Problem Management according to ITIL Optimization of operational processes, processes and techniques as well as ensuring the interservice interoperability Automation of processes, especially by means of Ansible Creation and maintenance of task-specific technical documentation

Completed IT vocational training or comparable qualifications and at least 5 years of professional experience in monitoring Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or newer Knowledge of server monitoring, preferably with SCOM Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Powershell Knowledge of automation options, preferably Ansible readiness to take responsibility, very good organizational capacity and team capacity
