Cost Engineer Electromagnetic Compatibility (m/f/d)

As an EMV Cost Engineer, you will take over a central interface function between laboratory, business lines, business units and customers. You are responsible for the professionally sound cost assessment within the scope of offer requests and thus contribute significantly to an efficient, resilient and customer-oriented delivery. Creation of cost and cost estimates in line with internal business units, business lines and external customers Evaluation of offer requests based on product standards, regulatory requirements, specifications, factory standards and other test-relevant requirements Priority and timely provision of calculations taking into account relevant KPIs Ensure that all audit-relevant information is fully collected, evaluated and taken into account in the calculation Professional support of business units and business lines in the supply and sales process Participation in customer appointments as a specialist for the clarification of technical, regulatory and application-related issues Supporting the interface function between laboratory service line, business line and customer interface Close coordination with laboratory management, specialist group leaders and technical experts to ensure efficient testing Continuous optimization of the costing process, process times and costing quality Developing standards, methods and templates for transparent and efficient supply creation Continuous technical development at the state of the art and in close coordination with the laboratory

Technical studies or comparable qualification, ideally in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, physics or a related subject Experience in the environment of technical testing, laboratory processes, product qualification or certification of advantage Understanding product standards, regulatory requirements, specifications, factory standards and technical specifications Ability to collect, evaluate and translate technical customer requirements in a structured manner in terms of cost and effort Embossed process understanding and interest in continuous process improvement Communication strength in exchange with customers, sales, business lines and technical fields Structured, independent and solution-oriented operation Safe handling of prioritization, appointment requirements and KPI-oriented control Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English in word and writing
