Azure Cloud Engineer – Infrastructure & Automation (m/f/d)

As Azure Cloud Engineer, the reliability and availability of our Azure IaaS environment (Azure Vms, storage accounts across all levels, from infrastructure and networks to security and backups. For the stable operation of our Azure networks, you optimise and continuously develop our Hub-and-Spoke architectures, thereby reliably designing firewall and WAF solutions, powerful and future-proof. About identities, permissions and interfaces You take responsibility for our Entra ID, manage app registrations and Enterprise Applications and successfully implement the concepts for MFA, RBAC, PIM, group management and our zero-trust strategy. Keep an overview of our Azure services and detect errors early and solve problems with a clear focus on operation and performance. You automate recurring tasks using IaC and develop efficient, scalable and stable operating processes that create sustainable added value. In addition, you work closely with departments and partners, monitor costs and ensure the performance quality of external service providers.

You have several years of experience in configuring and managing Azure resources and services, including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure SQL and Azure Storage, and have sound knowledge about cloud security standards such as Defender, Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC, PIM and Identity Protection. Monitoring and logging are safe (e.g. Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Graph API) and implements cloud automation with Terraform, PowerShell and Graph API. With DevOps tools like Bitbucket and Azure DevOps, you support development and operating processes efficiently and seamlessly. Technical challenges You are structuring, keeping an overview and finding pragmatic, reliable solutions. You speak German and English so that the exchange with international branches and partners works smoothly. As a team player, you work independently, solution-oriented and communicative and actively contribute to the success of the team.
