Development and implementation of purchasing strategies to optimize supply chains for electronic components Building and maintaining long-term supplier relations at national and international level Analysis of market trends and identifying opportunities for cost reduction Negotiation of prices, contracts and delivery conditions with international suppliers Monitoring delivery dates and coordination of deliveries in bottlenecks Close exchange with internal departments such as production, logistics and quality assurance Support in the development of new product ideas through the acquisition of innovative components

Our client is a person who keeps quiet in challenging situations and proactively seeks solutions. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team are essential. In your role as a strategic buyer, you will ideally bring 3–5 years of experience from the electronics or electrical engineering industry. Studying is advantageous, but not necessarily necessary. Funded knowledge in the field of electrical engineering will help you work and support your negotiation talks, especially in the international context. Very good knowledge of English and knowledge of German are essential for dealing with suppliers.
