Welcome to the Albert-Schweitzer-Kinderdorf Alt-Garge!

We accompany families, support, provide and educate children and support young people through individual outpatient and stationary offers. We create spaces where diverse experiences and experiences of success lead to a confidence in life.

A children's village family takes up to six children stationary. The children’s village parents live together with their own and the “children’s village children” in appropriately developed houses.

Your tasks with us...

• They give the children in primary school age (6-8 years) a good home with the team, where they can feel safe, comfortable and secure
• They show your entrusted little people the world as they should be and usually accompany them for many years
• They promote the children entrusted to you in everyday life in a targeted and planned manner and work constructively and trustfully together with the biological parents
• The documentation and tasks of everyday life are also your tasks

• You also find the concept of professional relationship work important
• You have a solid personality with expertise and good communicative skills that would like to integrate and realize in the small team of a children's village family with a very experienced house manager
• You have an empathy basic attitude
• You have a completed training as an educator:in, healer teacher:in (m/w/d) or a completed study of pedagogy or social work, or a comparable qualification
• You have the willingness to flexible working hours and weekend services
• You have a driving licence
