We are looking for an expert in IT Service Management (w/m/d) for the DHL Freight in Cologne or Bonn. In this diverse role, you are part of the IT team and support the stable and secure operation of our hosting environments as well as the further development of the associated IT services. What tasks do you take You are central: contact:in the field of hosting! You coordinate and control operational requirements, incidents, changes and escalations around hosting services and work closely with internal departments, external providers and central IT functions. Ensure a stable hosting operation! You support ensuring the operation of server, network and database environments, accompany the analysis and elimination of system impairments and contribute to the continuous improvement of service quality. You take responsibility! Management and coordination of projects in the field of hosting and IT service management, such as creating project plans, maintaining milestones, communication at all levels in and around the project, coordinating upcoming changes and working out options and optional actions, preparing decision recommendations How to convince us Practical experience: 2-3 years of experience in IT service management, IT project management or in the operation of hosting services. Experience in managing projects, maintaining milestones, process design and process optimization is advantageous. Technical knowledge: Complete study of IT, economic engineering or comparable qualification. You bring sound knowledge of ITIL processes and a high affinity for IT and digitalization topics. Technical knowledge: Very good knowledge of ServiceNow as well as experience with change, incident and problem management processes. Technical understanding of hosting infrastructures, in particular server environments on Linux and Windows, network bases and Oracle databases, is assumed. Knowledge in Jira and Confluence are beneficial. Personality: As an expert IT service management in the field, you are solution-oriented, structured and binding. You work safely with different stakeholders, keep an overview even in complex situations and convince by technical understanding, communication strength and excellent knowledge of German and good English.
