Senior Site Reliability Engineer / Senior Developer Data Platform - Databricks, AWS (m/f/d)

You work on our Databricks data platform in an agile cross-functional team, hosted in the AWS cloud With Data Modelling techniques, you will unlock new sources and integrit these data You implement new use cases and optimize existing processes You establish modern SRE practices (SLOs, SLIs, Incident & Postmortem processes) and promote sustainable error culture You rely on automation and infrastructure as code to increase efficiency and stability You work closely with (Technical) Product Owns, Architect:inside, and business and actively contribute your know-how Developed with a look at our Big Picture You actively focus on new topics, focus on internal and external customers, and shape the experience of our digital solutions

You have at least 3 years of experience in developing solutions in data-intensive systems, such as data platforms, data warehouses and data sheets You have deep knowledge in handling Apache Spark and related optimization methods and technologies You know about relevant OLAP and OLTP batteries and work with CDC, Steaming and Batch Data Processing ETL pipelines are your well-known tools You know how to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (eg Github Actions) You use Terraform or CDK to manage the cloud infrastructure You are familiar with Data Mesh, both on a technological and conceptual level, e.g. Open Data Contracts You bring understanding of data architecture and the conception of data products with (Medallion architecture) AWS-Developer and Solution-Architect certifications are a plus point You speak Python and SQL like your native language You test your solution intensively at all levels, e.g. with pytest and Robot Framework sharing knowledge and building knowledge are your understanding, which you also like to use to coach employees You have first experiences with observability (monitoring, logging, tracing), e.g. with Dynatrace You have very good knowledge of German or English in word and writing
