Senior Engineer Valves (m/f/d)

As Senior Project Engineer (m/w/d) Valves, you take the technical responsibility for the selection, specification and standardization of valves in demanding plant engineering projects. You work independently on the interface between process engineering, pipeline planning, suppliers and project teams and contribute significantly to the successful implementation of our international power plant and waste processing systems.

You bring your experience from power plant, energy or process plant construction and make sound technical decisions about valves, pressure levels, materials and standards.

In addition, you have extensive knowledge of the technical requirements for high-pressure fittings and their use in demanding process engineering applications.

Your duties

Responsible technical design, selection and specification of shut-off, control and safety fittings for complex plant construction projects Development and standardization of fitting classes and definition of project-specific standards Creation and maintenance of technical specifications, data sheets and technical documentation Technical coordination with suppliers, contractors and internal specialist departments Testing and optimization of installation situations and interfaces in 3D plant models Creation of faucet lists (BOQ) as well as technical support for purchasing in supplier selection and award processes Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, guidelines and customer requirements Support for manufacturing, assembly, commissioning and service through your technical expertise Active participation in the development of engineering standards and best practices

Your profile Complete degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering or comparable technical qualification Multiannual professional experience in power plant, energy, pipeline or process engineering Knowledge of the design and specification of fittings and pipeline components, especially in water-steam circuits Experience in dealing with relevant standards and regulations (DIN, EN, ASME, PED) Safe handling of COMOS, AutoCAD or comparable engineering tools Ability to independently analyze technical questions, make decisions and implement solutions Structured, independent and responsible operation Very good German and good English skills
