As management of the business unit in the field, you actively shape the strategic orientation and coordinate the tasks, objectives and processes of the business unit in the field with the operations and traffic departments You take over the disciplinary and professional leadership of a dedicated team with a focus on achievement and further development You control the management processes and their interfaces within the business unit You are responsible for the operational control of the associated motorway masters as well as for the supervision and guarantee of a smooth service You are responsible for budget planning and resource management You participate in specialist bodies and promote knowledge transfer Regular meetings, coordination and interdisciplinary cooperation with other departments and business units complete your tasks

Completed academic studies in the field of civil engineering (probably in the field of road construction), transport engineering and comparable knowledge and experience Proven management and leadership experience as well as several years of professional experience in the field of transport Detailed knowledge of the relevant guidelines: such as RSA, ERSA, RUB, RMS, RPS, RWBA and corresponding additional technical contractual conditions (ZTV) knowledge of road law, administrative law, building law Knowledge of relevant laws and FStrG, StVO, StVG, VOL, VOB, HOAI Very good German language skills in word and writing (min. level C2 to GER/CEFR) Class B driving licence This distinguishes you as a manager: You think in complex contexts and have a pronounced willingness to design, combined with value-adding behavior and self-reflection With emotional intelligence and motivating speech, you understand how to inspire, develop and delegate tasks to your employees.
