Site Reliability Engineer - Linux / DNS / Go / Python (m/w/d)

You provide distributed, highly available services on Linux, operate and migrate them Improve and develop the entire stack, from hardware to operating system to application, including configuration management and monitoring You develop and adapt DIM (github.com/ionos-cloud/dim), monzero (github.com/ionos-cloud/monzero) and other open source projects You support our system administrators in the automation of operating tasks and rollouts and provide interfaces for integration into our hosting portfolio for other teams You manage and resolve problems in our highly available and complex infrastructure and participate in a readiness rotation You support the corporate goals through an efficient operating architecture, active lifecycle management and lean processes in an agile DevOps environment and operate a certified, safety-relevant infrastructure

You have at least 5 years of practical experience in the administration of complex services under Linux (no special distribution) You integrierst Infrastructure as Code and Automation in your work and are a fan of Open Source, especially Linux You have several years of experience in the system-oriented development of highly available software artifacts, written in programming or script languages such as Go, Python, Bash and Java You have practical experience in running DNS (PowerDNS, PowerDNS Recursor, dnsdist), NTP (ntpd, chrony, Meinberg), DHCP and IP management You know about Observability Stacks (e.g. collectd/telegraf, metrictank, influx, Grafana) and have experience with iBGP and eBGP, Anycast Routing and ECMP You can communicate fluently with an international team, German skills are of advantage
