We are looking for container terminal employees (m/w/d) for the operation container logistics in full time. This activity is carried out at the Leverkusen and Dormagen site.

Your main tasks: Loading and unloading of the transport carriers (railway, truck, container internal ship) by crane (remote control/cancell)

Check the box and tank containers as part of the legal hazardous goods and transport regulations (recreating the Interchange Receipts)

Storage of containers in compliance with storage regulations

On and off containers at heating/cooling units, incl. continuous temperature control

handling of transport papers as necessary and attaching seals to the containers

performing possible maintenance and inspection work on cranes and vehicles

EDV-assisted storage control (storage mirror controls, on-site disposition, computer-technical detection of container control lists, monitoring of analytical storage measurement values/plausibility checks)

Instruction of fire brigade in operations and possibly support

carrying out factory-internal container transports with special vehicles (e.g. mafi, tractor and tractor)

completed training required or comparable

driving licence class C/CE mandatory; ADR fitting with additional tank desirable

Existing crane license desirable or willingness and suitability to acquire it

Experience in leading container special vehicles desirable

Height and physical fitness

Basic knowledge of English and EDV (MS-Office and web-based applications)

Willingness to shift work
