As a development engineer (m/w/d), you create simulation models and develop algorithms for steering, navigation and control (GNC) of steering. For this purpose, use simulation techniques (e.g. 6DoF simulation), linear robust control (e.g. H∞ or LPV control) and state estimation (e.g. Extended Kalman Filter). After designing the GNC algorithms in MATLAB / Simulink, you support the operational implementation and integration of the algorithms. You contribute to the planning, implementation and evaluation of component tests as well as shooting campaigns in Germany and abroad. In addition, the creation of concepts, specifications and documentation is one of your tasks.

You have successfully completed a degree or master's degree in regulatory engineering, technical cybernetics, air and space technology or a comparable field of expertise and ideally bring together first professional experience or a completed doctorate. You have extensive expertise in MATLAB / Simulink as well as basic knowledge in Git and C/C++. We require certain MS-Office and English skills. You are flexible, targeted and communicative and are looking for technical challenges.
