Team Leader Equipment Decontamination (m/f/d)

You take over the technical and disciplinary leadership of the TELG team and lead this team with sovereignty in their role as the leadership of 16 employees in their own staff and employees in the work and service contract. With your expertise, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the various workplaces and tasks within the device decontamination subsite, while complying with all legal and operational requirements. You develop strategies for the further processing of radioactive residues, establish suitable post-conditioning measures and design the jobs required for this purpose. You are responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of maintenance, renewal and modernization measures and thus ensure smooth operation of the plant. You represent operational and technical concerns to authorities and experts and regularly participate in specialised bodies.

You have a completed master's degree in engineering or natural science, preferably in the field of process engineering/machine engineering or a comparable technical degree course. As an alternative, you have completed technical vocational training with a subject-specific further training to the master or technician (m/w/d), supplemented by many years of professional experience in the above-mentioned technical tasks and can provide business knowledge. You have practical experience as an operating manager of a comparable facility and have already successfully demonstrated your leadership skills in practice. Ideally, you have knowledge of nuclear installations and experience in the handling of radioactive substances or are prepared to work intensively on this subject. You occur sovereignly, communicate clearly and purposefully, preserve responsibility and security awareness even in challenging situations and are characterized by a high degree of team capacity. You meet the occupational health requirements for the use of heavy breathing protection. You have German knowledge at least on C1 level and convince with a very good oral and written expressability.
