The Messtechnik and Testing department is a central part of the Prototyping & Testing department and is divided into five specialized teams at Kiel, Unterlüß and Kassel locations. The Transportability team is fully responsible for the transport and loading capacity of subsystems and total vehicles (land, lake, air) - from CAD planning and specification to loading concepts to regulatory certification. Two other teams are responsible for EMC testing of assemblies and overall systems as well as testing in environmental simulation (temperature, vibration, media resistance and tightness) at component level. The overall system testing is supported by two measurement technology teams that take over the detection and analysis of various physical measured variables (including frequencies, temperatures and pressures). Technical and disciplinary management of the department and the targeted further development of staff Initiation and development of investment projects for continuous expansion and modernisation of the technical spectrum Creation and plausibility of cost estimates as well as strategic budget and capacity planning Ensuring the timely and high-quality implementation of defined development tasks in compliance with the business requirements Control of interfaces between project management, systems engineering, prototype construction, testing and V&V Strategic assignment and operational control of internal and external suppliers and service providers Reporting of target achievement (quality, cost, time) and relevant KPIs in department, project and program audits This place can be occupied in Kiel, Kassel or Unterlüß.

Successfully completed studies in the field of aerospace engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable technical field Multiannual leadership experience in the development of complex technical systems Industry knowledge in the defence industry, aviation or automotive industry In-depth technical understanding and ideally experience in the fields of measurement technology, testing, EMC or environmental simulation Very good English skills in word and writing Structured thinking, high self-responsibility and a solution-oriented way of working in complex problems Communication strength and ability to safely control different stakeholders
