In the field of basic infrastructure, our small but powerful team from eight colleagues takes care of the large-scale computer and the things that are necessary for this platform to be able to perform its service successfully with us. You are responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of z/OS. This includes the independent support and provision of basic system components and the implementation of SMP/E installations. You manage and optimise the storage solutions for DASD and TAPE devices yourself. In addition, you are responsible for the administration of storage products such as DFSMS, tape management, backup and archiving. You are planning the integration and connection of various z/hardware systems (computers and storage). You can set the z/OS configuration independently, take care of connections, cabling and are the main contact partner for RZ assignment in all hardware questions. As part of your responsibility, you are responsible for providing and administering access routes to the mainframe, including managing TCP/IP and VTAM. You independently coordinate network resources such as firewall releases and pooling. You are responsible for providing and managing 3270 emulation and the session manager. Finally, you are self-responsible for coordination, planning and coordination with the RZ assignment in relation to all hardware and capacity management issues. You have extensive expertise and experience in the installation, configuration and maintenance of z/OS systems. You have expertise in managing and optimizing storage solutions for DASD and TAPE devices. You bring several years of professional experience in the above mentioned fields of activity. Your profile is rounded off by a completed IT training or an IT or MINT study or comparable knowledge.

Salary: You receive a collectively regulated remuneration (compulsory contract for private insurance). In addition, you receive holiday and Christmas money as well as extensive social benefits - including an occupational pension scheme. In addition, a future-proof workplace awaits you.

Homeoffice: Depending on the location and arrangement with your leadership, you can choose between different home office models. At least two days are provided at the LVM campus. In addition to a fully-fledged technical equipment, you will receive a unique home office tray of 800 € gross.

Work-Life-Balance: Our flexible working time regulation with a 38-hour week and 30 holiday days allows you to adjust your working hours in consultation between 7 am and 8 pm. In this case, any overtime that has been completed is of course paid out or can alternatively be compensated for by leisure.
