For our Software Development and Governance (SDG) service field in Tribe Demand, Value and FinOps Management (SDGDVF), we are looking for you in full or part-time as Strategic FinOps Manager (m/w/d) in Karlsruhe, Münster and Germany from 30 hours a week. Your tasks with perspectives FinOps-Governance & Framework: You build the central FinOps service in the Atruvia Trusted Tech Foundation (ATTF) and develop the FinOps governance framework (rolling, processes, standards, key figures) for the entire ATTF portfolio - you create transparency and control, not a classic budget controller.
Advice & portfolio control: You are the central contact person for FinOps message positions in the context of the control and alignment of the ATTF portfolio. With new demands or strategic initiatives, you will advise the business and service fields regarding costs, cost-effectiveness and value contribution - for cloud, on-premises and private cloud scenarios.
Measurement Methods & Hybrid FinOps: You implement and optimize measurement methods across all ATTF products and services and integrate them into ATTF value management. Make sure that resource consumption and costs from on-premises, private cloud and hyperscalers are consistently collected and made economically comparable (e.g. TCO considerations, scenario comparisons).
Dashboards & Reporting: You develop standardized reports and dashboards that provide resilient decision bases for internal customers and decision-makers. You work with common data and reporting tools from the FinOps environment.
Scaling & Cooperation: You work closely with the service fields, the central finance and controlling department, as well as architecture and operations teams to integrate FinOps parameters (cost, utilisation, efficiency, business value) into the demand and value structures and thus enable data-based control of the performance portfolio.
Your personality with profile You will be awarded a completed study of (economic) informatics, IT architecture or IT system development as well as many years of relevant professional experience (more than 6 years) or comparable qualification.
You bring experience in FinOps, cloud/hybrid cloud management or IT financial management in complex technical environments. You understand FinOps not only as cloud cost management, but as an approach to managing value and cost-effectiveness in hybrid and multi-cloud landscapes incl. On-premises environments.
You work securely with Excel, SQL or Power BI and analyze large amounts of data from different sources (On-Prem, Private Cloud, Hyperscaler). Experiences with SAP or FinOps/Cost Management solutions are advantageous. Ideally, you have relevant certifications such as FinOps Certified Practitioner or Cloud Engineer / Solution Architect.
You have knowledge of German (at least C1 level) and good English (B2 level).
