Training for vocational schools with an apprenticeship in the teaching field of precious metal and jewellery processing and another subject that can be used in professional schools. You can get from 12. September 2025 with full employment in the higher service and usually in the civil service. Direct entry:Professional/-r Master or graduate with university degree or master degree or equivalent university degree in the field of precious metal and jewellery processing or precious stone and jewellery design and with at least two years of relevant professional practice in accordance with the conditions specified on the information pages (see link under “Application”). Other subject-related university degrees (e.g. Bachelor, FH Diploma) can also be examined for recognition. From 8 September 2025 onwards they can be hired as a so-called direct starter with full employment in the higher service. You will receive a vocational training in the first two years. Within the framework of the civil service regulations, after three years there is the possibility of beaming. In the case of childcare, care for dependent or severely handicapped persons, extended part-time may be agreed in the two-thirds model for the qualifying phase upon application.
