Information Security Officer (m/f/d)

In this function, you will design the structure and development of the information security and resilience structures of the University of Worms. Your tasks include: Information security and organisational resilience Development and development of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and the associated governance structures Development and updating of security policies and minimum organisational standards Establishing security requirements in IT and digitalization projects Advising Bureau, CIO, IT and Security Risk Organisation Coordination of the handling of security incidents and the establishment of a security awareness program Development and development of organisational resilience and business continuity management as well as participation in the university crisis team Threat management Establishment and maintenance of a structured map to assess relevant threats deriving appropriate organisational protection measures International cooperation and export control Development of guidelines for safety-relevant aspects of international cooperation and service travel Support in evaluating export control and sanction risks

Qualification Completed, relevant university studies or comparable qualification Experience in information security, IT governance or risk management Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. basic BSI protection, ISO 27001) Experience in building and developing governance structures Basic understanding of IT operation and IT service organization Personal competencies Analytical and risk-oriented thinking Structured and methodological work Ability to understand complex facts Impressed communication and cooperation capability Pragmatic and solution-oriented operation
