Product and Project Manager for Computer Vision (m/f/d)

Your tasks - shape the future together: Computer vision and data-driven methods are key technologies for scalable robotics solutions in crafts and SMEs. In this position, you control development projects in the field of Computer Vision structured, coordinate interdisciplinary teams and consistently guide technical solutions towards market maturity. You plan, control and coordinate development projects in the field of computer vision and autonomous systems - from concept phase to market maturity - and ensure a structured, targeted implementation. Prioritize and structure requirements for CV solutions in close coordination with the CV developer, internal departments and external partners and transfer them to clear development orders. You coordinate data acquisition processes, pilot applications and feasibility studies, derive concrete insights and create a resilient basis for the further development of new solutions. In addition, you will identify and evaluate applications for camera-based detection and autonomous systems in handicraft applications, combining customer requirements, market potentials and technical feasibility. You work closely with universities, research partners and other external partners and contribute to making new technologies and fields of application usable for Würth at an early stage. The creation of technical assessment reports as well as the presentation of project results, roadmaps and status reports before internal decision-makers are part of your responsibility as well as the occasional participation in trade fairs and conferences.

Your profile - grow together: You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable qualification, ideally focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or Computer Vision. You provide several years of experience in the independent management of technical development projects and have well-founded knowledge in the requirement management for computer vision or machine learning solutions. We require a good technical understanding of CV and ML methods (for example in the areas of object recognition, segmentation or related processes) as well as the ability to coordinate interdisciplinary teams in a targeted manner. You are safe in dealing with Microsoft Office and ideally with project management tools like Jira and Confluence. Basic knowledge of Python or a comparable programming language can be found; Knowledge of C/C++ is advantageous. We require very good German and English knowledge of at least B2 level in word and writing. Personally, you are convinced by a structured, solution-oriented and independent way of working, coupled with communication strength, high self-motivation and pleasure in working in a technology-driven, dynamic environment.
