- Consciousness and awareness of the innovation and technology transfer process You are the first contact person(s) for researchers and regularly conduct discussions with doctoral students, academic staff and management personnel to identify and promote innovation potential at an early stage (“Walking the Hall”). You explain the innovation process as well as the transfer and support offers of KIT and contribute to the visibility of these services. You represent KIT and the transfer activities on internal and external events, in particular with regard to energy.
- Technology screening You identify promising technologies and project ideas in close cooperation with researchers from various areas of the IRM service unit. You evaluate technologies with regard to their economic viability and innovation levels. You are structuring and clustering technologies and project ideas to develop individual approaches or whole themes.
- Networking, partner search and project initiation and coordination You actively build networks matching the topics of KIT and cultivate them, in particular as part of identified technology clusters.
