As an innovative police authority with interfaces to the federal government and countries, the Bayerische Landeskriminalamt is an unpredictable and important part of the Bavarian security structure. The Bavarian Authorized Body is the Centre for the Digital Radio of All Authorities and Organisations with Security Tasks (BOS) in Bavaria and is responsible for providing digital radio services to all users of BOS in Bavaria. The BOS digital radio ensures optimal and fast aid. In the nationwide single network, the authorities and organizations communicate with security tasks using the modern, sound-proof digital radio. These include around 500,000 firefighters, civil protection, rescue services, THW, customs and police in Bavaria.
