For the field of "control technology", we are looking for a first time at the next possible time with focus on measuring and drive technology and basic knowledge in control technology or image processing at the Oberkochen site. Developer (m/d)

The team "Control Technology" defines, develops, tests and integrates control-related algorithms for the stabilization of multispectral visual systems for the reconnaissance and control of weapons in military Vetronics and ship applications. As FPGA developers, you are part of a dynamic, agile FPGA team within control technology and have the opportunity to actively shape and optimize the development processes in FPGA development.

Your duties

Requirements analysis and design of FPGA architectures, coordinated in the team and involved structures (control technology, circuit board design) Conception, (further) development & maintenance of FPGA modules for the regulated Stablilization Platforms of Hensoldt Optronics GmbH based on requirements Individual development of decision-making templates FPGA code implementation, integration and simulations for the FPGA modules Document and present commissioning of hardware prototypes with the associated FPGA shares in cooperation with other development departments and external partners as well as development results Support for the circuit design for FPGA Boards in Punkto FPGA Pinout Definition, coordination and control of external development components, as well as ensuring quality and development objectives

Your profile

Complete high-level or technical college studies in computer science, electrical engineering or a related field associated with relevant professional experience in FPGA development Finded knowledge about FPGA handling, preferably Xilinx-Zynq UltraScale+ Very good knowledge in VDHL 2008 rounded by experience with current simulation tools (e.g. Questa-SIM, ModelSim) and the Vivado Design Suite Experience in creating FPGA test cases with VUnit Ideally programming knowledge in Python or C++ First programming knowledge in the Userland and Kernel Space under Linux for hardware-related platforms as well as setups using Buildroot are of advantage Secure knowledge in handling MS Office in particular Excel and PowerPoint Fun on structured, analytical, targeted working and willingness to take responsibility in the agile team Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
