The task of system operation is the safe operation of the transmission network and the control zone of the TransnetBW in the European network. The System Management department is responsible for the safe operation of the TransnetBW transmission network in the European network and for ensuring the balance between production and consumption in the control zone. In this context, the operational planning forecasts the network state in the near future and plans the measures for safe operation of the transmission network in close cooperation with the national and international partners. They work on the development of a software for the national redispatch optimization and maintain it in daily operation. They are responsible for creating load specifications and function tests as well as the acceptance of new functionalities. They maintain the technical master data as a key success factor for appropriate optimization results. With your operational expertise, you support the development team of the software for the international optimization and coordination of countermeasures in Central Europe. They cooperate closely with the network industry and the professionals of German and international transmission system operators. They continuously improve the quality of the tools and application processes through close interaction with the users and matching with the operating performance.

They bring a completed university degree in engineering or natural sciences, ideally in electrical engineering, first experiences in project work are advantageous. They are communicative, bring team spirit and have fun in shaping the energy transition in a highly dynamic environment. They work independently, independently, targeted and on time. They are able to understand complex relationships and develop appropriate technical solutions. They master a programming language and are safe in handling MS Office and ideally with MATLAB. They have knowledge of German and good English in word and writing.
