The Centre for Operative Medicine of the UKE combines the clinics and clinics for general, visceral and thorax surgery, for urology, for gynecology, for transplant surgery and for trauma surgery and orthopaedics.The clinics share a total of 240 beds. This is expected Due to the primary coding of medical and other medical diagnosis, treatments, medications as well as nursing services, if necessary in coordination with the doctors: you are directly involved in our success. Your future activities include: Execution of the reception, if necessary in consultation with the attending doctors:in the various departments of the Centre for Operative Medicine with the focus on urology Primary encoding of stationary hospital cases based on documentation in compliance with the applicable coding guidelines / case-accompanying and retrospective Optimization of proceeds by: Case check based on file with respect to plausibility and completeness Determination and coding of procedures carried out on the basis of OP reports Case meetings for the definition of diagnosis for coding Selection of alternative diagnoses for encoding, in consultation with med. Error analyses and clarification of deviations

Communication with the medical controller Notification of missing proofs of performance, findings, medical letters and incorrect or incomplete documentation Processing of MD and health insurance requests in cooperation with the doctor:inside Execution of acceptance in consultation with the attending physician: inside

Completed vocational training for:medical documentation assistant:in or equivalent skills and experience, e.g. in health and nursing, in combination with a further training for clinical/medical codier professional (codier subject course) Long-term professional experience in the nursing field of surgery (ideally urology, trauma surgery or general surgery) Required knowledge in SAP and MyMedis Ideally with experience in coding in the field of emergency reception Good German knowledge Co-operation, communication and coordination capacity, sense of responsibility, self-employment and a quick understanding
