Accounting & Tax Manager (m/w/d)

Our customer is an established global player from South Korea in the field of energy infrastructure and energy solutions. As a reliable partner in the energy industry, the company specialises in power transformers, gas-insulated switching systems (GIS), high-voltage motors and generators. Focusing on sustainable growth and strong expansion, in particular in Europe, pioneers are being sought to strengthen the financial team in Frankfurt am Main.

Financial control: You take control of the European day-to-day business (debitors, creditors, main book, bank agreement) and conduct monthly and annual accounts.

Reporting excellence: They provide accurate and timely reports according to local GAAP (e.g. HGB) and IFRS and support the creation of annual accounts and audit processes.

Tax security: You are responsible for preparing and filing VAT, corporation tax and other statutory tax returns and ensure compliance with local tax laws.

Strategic support: They coordinate external consultants and examiners, support transfer pricing documentation and actively contribute to budgeting and forecasting.

A completed study in accounting, finance or a related area is your foundation.

They bring at least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation, ideally from a multinational environment in Europe.

Solid knowledge of local tax regulations and accounting standards are of course for you.

Dealing with ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus) and excellent MS Excel skills are excellent.

They communicate safely in English and German, Korean knowledge is an additional advantage.
