Your new job

Their new task is amidst the product and system development of fieldbus modules and switch cabinet-based automation components. You process tasks along the entire application lifecylce software, from analysis of requirements, design, implementation to testing and integration. The start-up of the developed software functions on the target system will lead you through and release them for the functional validation or certification tests. In addition, you control software components from external and internal suppliers into the overall system. As part of the maintenance and product care, you also take over tasks in the context of product improvements.

• Development of firmware and software architecture as well as software design for our new and innovative modules for Profinet, EtherNet/IP or IO-Link devices, depending on your technical focus
• Responsibility for implementing your innovative software solutions and participation in the implementation of the certification process
• Capture and analyze the requirements of product management
• They act as an expert in software engineering and coordinate implementation in cooperation with other teams within the scope of the project

Your profile

• Complete studies focusing on electrical engineering, automation technology, information technology, computer science or comparable
• Extensive and multi-year experience in PROFINET, Ethernet/IP or IO-Link
• Very good knowledge of software development, ideally with C/C++/C#, UML
• Experience with Test Driven Development and Design Patterns, Continuous Delivery and Automated Acceptance Tests
• Finded knowledge of Ethernet and Internet protocols (ARP, TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, etc.)
• Ideally development experience with other protocols (EtherCAT, Modbus TCP, Sercos)
• Knowledge of Industrial Ethernet, IO-Link, OPC UA or MQTT are advantageous
• Self-employed, careful and targeted
• Team spirit and communication strength in English and at least good basic knowledge in German
