Data Management Consultant (m/f/d)

You take a key role in developing data governance and data management As a team player, you are responsible for our central business and IT solution for inventorying, classification and transparency of the data stocks of the companies of the Schwarz Group You bring best practice of data and interface documentation about the solutions and projects of our customers into a wide variety of business areas and coordinates and manages metadata management in the data catalogue In close coordination with the Data Governance, you will develop recommendations for the standardization and continuous optimization of the transparency of our data landscape by methodological and technological introduction of (meta) data management You advise specialist departments on the efficient use and further development of the data catalogue You take responsibility for requirements management, including evaluation, specification and fine grinding in cooperation with stakeholders and international expert teams at the interface between business and IT

You have a degree in the field of (economic) informatics or software engineering or a comparable qualification with high IT affinity You bring multi-year relevant professional experience in the data management/data governance environment, as well as a strong understanding of data models, data architectures and database technologies with You have relevant experience in analyzing complex system landscapes and technical interfaces, ideally with practice in implementing and using data lineage processes within a common data catalog You bring communication strength, enforcing strength and enthusiasm, combined with an independent, structured and solution-oriented approach and a secure occurrence You have a joy of innovation, team spirit and a “mask” mentality You bring very good German and English skills
