Network specialist (w/m/d) for Cisco / Arista-based network structures in the LAN and WAN sector Darmstadt | Unlimited | Full time

You are responsible for the administration, monitoring and ensuring the high availability of complex Cisco/Arista-based network structures in the LAN and WAN sector. The operational administration and configuration of the network components (routing and switching) as well as the analysis of existing network infrastructures with regard to performance, errors and optimization are your responsibility. The processing of service requests and incidents in cooperation with our customers is one of your tasks. The support of various network topics (e.g. VPN, WLAN, DHCP, DNS, Security) as well as the creation and maintenance of network documentation complements the task field. The maintenance of the asset database is also in your field of activity.

(m/d) Consultant (m/d) Knowledge of TCP/IP, switching and routing, among others with Cisco / Arista (also in virtualized environments), experience with Fortinet firewall and VPN Analytical and conceptual thinking and a high degree of problem-solving competence readiness for flexible working hours to ensure a 7x24 operation, including participation in the standby service and driving licence Class B Very good German knowledge (comparable level B2 CEFR) and good English skills
