Our RD/EDD department is responsible for software system integration & analysis and testing all drive components in combination for the purely electrical drives of all Mercedes-Benz series with EQ technology. As an operational SW system integration, our team takes care of SW release formation, commissioning and securing of the drivetrain software. We organize our Defect management and are thus the indicator for the SW maturity of our products. Our goal is to bring faultless SW into the field. As an interface between the drivetrain structures, EE, start-up factory and superstructures, communication at eye level, cooperation and agility are important competencies of the team. We use modern tools and methods that we constantly develop and standardize. In the team we are important to open, friendly, respectful interactions. These challenges include: Support for vehicle management Flashing vehicles with software packages Commissioning of vehicles Administration and support of Defect Management Up and processing of the feedback from various tests Error documentation, analysis of measurement data and systemic investigations (also data mining) Quality check of error tickets Working with the creation and development of tools, methods and dashboards Working in day-to-day operations Our team is looking forward to you!
