Azure DevOps Engineer with a focus on Azure AI (a*)

By building, developing and operating Azure platform and AI solutions, you actively shape the energy transition in Hamburg and create the basis for innovative digital and AI applications. The Azure target architecture as well as governance and security structures are defined and designed so that our Azure platform can be operated safely, economically, scalable and in line with our digitalization and AI strategy. A central cost control for the Azure Platform is designed and responsible so that the use, scaling and cost-effectiveness of Azure resources are transparent and controllable. Standardized CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code components with terraform, templates, starter kits and reference solutions are developed, operated and continually opt to ensure efficient and high-quality Azure resources. Our IT platform and project teams advise and support you in the design and evaluation of Azure AI Use Cases and Platform Architectures and thus contribute significantly to the implementation of our AI roadmap. The secure operation of Azure AI Services – such as Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, Cognitive Services and AI Search – will be ensured together with the teams involved and will continue to develop the platform along professional requirements and technical best practices.

You have a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or a comparable qualification and bring relevant professional experience in the Azure environment. As a Microsoft Azure DevOps specialist, you can handle Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform, Entra ID, Key Vault, Private Endpoints, Networking, Landing Zones and Monitoring – these tools are your standard repertoire. Discovered experience in the design, development and maintenance of infrastructure as code projects to provide Azure resources with Terraform and Azure DevOps. You have proven practical experience with the Microsoft Azure AI Stack – especially with Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, Cognitive Services, AI Search and their integration into corporate landscapes. A structured, planar and conceptual way of working is combined with the ability to pragmatically implement solutions even during operation. Self-responsible work, strong teamwork and clear, address-oriented communication are your strengths. Ideally, you will also bring know-how in the use of Language Models and RAG architectures or have the willingness to work on these topics.
