FEW Blankenburg GmbH is located in the northern Vorharz, near Wernigerode, Quedlinburg, Halberstadt and Thale. The FEW has an approximately 150-year operating history, since 1873 railway-specific activities have been carried out on the grounds of the FEW. Essential tasks:

• Maintenance and maintenance work and repair of freight wagons
• Test and measurement activities
• Assembly work according to technical drawings
• Documentation of activities and work results carried out
• Component and component exchange for freight cars and rail vehicles
