At the IT site of the DRV Bund in Würzburg-Heuchelhof, a highly specialised team of over 400 IT and specialist experts develops and operates state-of-the-art IT services on various technological IT platforms. And our location continues to grow. We are therefore looking for new colleagues to support IT operations and IT management and software development.

Your task

As an IT administrator, they are responsible for the planning, construction, deployment, management and maintenance of our IT systems. Depending on the interest and qualification, different fields of activity are open to you • Network infrastructure and security gateways • Server virtualization and operating system provision (RHEL) • General computer operation (IBM Host and DB2) • Monitor and control the technical and IT procedures and IT systems • Providing the toolchain for DevOps and transferring the developments into operation (e.g. with GIT Bitbucket, Jenkins and xlDeploy) • Operation of application servers, preferably WebSphere Application Server • Operation of relational databases (e.g. Oracle or Postgres) • Application security infrastructure (e.g. certificates, WAF and cryptography) as well as directory services and identity and access management • data exchange between different communication partners, in particular authorities • Operation of company-wide collaboration applications (e.g. Confluence and Jira) • Building of central test systems (e.g. with Websphere JBoss)

Your profile

• A completed university education (Bachelor, Diplom FH) in the IT sector or a completed vocational training in the IT sector or a completed comparable IT training or training or a comparable professional qualification with at least first professional experience • knowledge of the installation, administration and configuration of the IT systems in the area of responsibility, as well as the related software, protocols and standards (see Task Area) • Experiences in the recognition, analysis and elimination of fault conditions in the IT systems of the responsibility area (see task area) • Knowledge of operating systems (see task area)
