Head of Department Construction Supervision Railway - Superstructure / KIB (m/f/d)

You take responsibility in a player coach role and at the same time pack yourself up. In the start phase you work in projects and build your own department with a strong team at the same time You guide your department professionally and disciplinaryly, recruit new employees (building supervisors) and continuously develop your team You control complex railway and infrastructure projects and make sure that dates, costs and quality are correct You are always looking at budgets, forecasts and utilisation and are responsible for your department's economy – for sustainable success and growth You'll first and check operations and construction instructions, pay attention to compliance with all policies and be the technical conscience of your department. Safety in railway operations is your top priority You win new projects together with the management, calculate offers, plead our network to clients and drive digitization forward by implementing and using modern tools

You have completed your studies in civil engineering or in electrical engineering (or comparable) as well as a valid DB-Bauüberwacher-Zulassung (Oberbau / KIB / STE – mandatory) You bring multi-year practice (approximately 5 years or more) in the implementation of web projects – ideally with first experience in team or project management, so that you can safely start through your role as leadership You are familiar with VOB, HOAI, VgV and the relevant DB guidelines – you know the rules in the railway and infrastructure sector You are an entrepreneurial thinking manager who makes decisions sovereign and communicates at eye level with all project participants You have a class B licence and are ready to travel in northern Germany and participate in our projects on site
