Senior Manager International Transaction Tax (m/f/d)

You are tax advocates for M&A transactions and complex structuring issues within the Eppendorf Group and make investment and structural decisions fiscally optimal - from the first idea to successful integration. You advise the Group companies of the Eppendorf Group comprehensively in tax issues at home and abroad, focusing on international tax law and a broad understanding of the entire transaction business. You accompany M&A transactions and other investment projects from start-up to post-deal integration, including tax due diligence, tax structuring, auditing tax clauses in corporate purchase contracts (SPA) and optimising the corporate structure. You design and implement intra-group reorganisations, transformations, carve-outs, joint ventures, mergers and other structural measures and ensure proper documentation. You advise interdisciplinary, predominantly international projects and independently process complex individual tax requests, with close cooperation with Corporate Finance, Controlling, Legal, Corporate Development and the business segments. You coordinate and control external consultants in Germany and abroad and ensure the quality of the tax solutions prepared for the Eppendorf Group. You accompany audits, pay attention to compliance with tax regulations and keep track of legal and legal changes to assess their impact on the Eppendorf Group. You promote knowledge building and transfer through the design and implementation of internal training on tax topics and contribute to the further development of processes and standards in the field of corporate taxation.

You have passed a successfully completed study of economics or legal sciences as well as the tax consultant exam. You have multi-year, at least five-year, relevant professional experience in tax law, focusing on M&A transactions and international corporate tax law - ideally in an internationally oriented tax consultancy or lawyer company or in the tax department of an internationally active company. You have excellent knowledge of German and international corporate tax law and tax structuring and monitoring of transactions, reorganisations and restructuring. You like to take responsibility, introduce a pronounced “Taking Ownership” mintset and high self-initiative, drive tax issues autonomously and lead them to stressable results. You have strong communicative skills and are able to convey complex tax issues clearly, structured and addressable. You act as a savings partner for management and disciplines, actively introduce tax aspects into decision-making processes and always keep an eye on economic relationships. You work structured and carefully, are highly motivated for interdisciplinary cooperation in the international environment and appreciate the work in cross-functional and cross-border project teams. You communicate safely in German and English, both in word and in writing.
