As a senior security engineer, you design security architecture, processes and measures to really work in everyday life. You combine technical understanding with clear control and ensure that security is consistently implemented.You are the interface between technology, disciplines and governance and ensure that better security is at the end – not just a concept.

You develop technical security concepts and security processes and ensure their implementation in IT operations. You work closely with the Information Security Officer, translate security requirements into technical measures and accompany their implementation in projects and operations. You control issues such as vulnerability management end-to-end, from identification to sustainable elimination. You use insights from logging, monitoring and security analyses to develop protective measures in a targeted manner. You define and structure security topics such as access control, privileged access, data and communication security, and Microsoft-365 security requirements (e.g. cloud security, encryption). You ensure that security policies and regulatory requirements are implemented in technical operation. You define, document and improve security processes, guidelines and technical guidelines.

You have several years of experience in the IT security environment and have deep technical understanding You can define, optimize and implement security processes. You know central security areas such as monitoring, vulnerability management, access control or data backup. You understand modern IT and cloud environments and their security-relevant mechanisms. You can prioritize requirements and control and maintain measures bindingly. You work structured, analytically and with the focus on real security improvement. You can safely communicate with teams, departments and bodies and represent decisions. You have very good knowledge of German in word and writing.
