Market Manager Rolling Stock m/w/d

Drive business growth in global markets – through strategies for new and existing product portfolios and continuous progress monitoring. Maintenance and updating of business intelligence data – including macro-economics, market structures, industry trends, competitive analyses, differentiation strategies and entry and exit barriers. Close cooperation with sales – to attract new customers, recover competitive customers, deepen key accounts and scale successful business approaches. Partnership with product management and technology – to develop the next generation of products and solutions. Building the Rolling Stock Low Frequency Strategy together with the SBD team and their implementation in the assigned sub-markets, including support for the annual business plan process. Definition of future-oriented product and solution offerings and support for go-to-market strategies, including value promises, segmentation, sales channels and marketing materials. Development of a communication and brand strategy including events and product-related marketing activities. Support for sales through market and application know-how and support for partnerships, joint ventures, M&A activities and early technical concepts.

Higher education, preferably mechanical engineering and electrical engineering, as well as at least 5 years of experience in the market segment Railway Technical competence: academic background in at least one of the three technologies: low frequency (LF), high frequency (HF) or glass fibre (FO) Experience in direct customer contact and implementation of market entry initiatives Market knowledge and good understanding of applications in the respective markets and related technologies: LF, RF and FO, including future market requirements Language knowledge: very good German and English skills, further language skills are advantageous Global orientation: International background High social competence and good management skills with global orientation and customer orientation Embossed readiness
