Project and technology acquisition You carry out value analyses and develop cost optimization projects along the entire product life cycle. You create and evaluate cost breakdowns as well as shoulder-cost models for deriving savings potential. You support development projects with design-to-cost approaches and bring cost-consciousness early into the development process. You analyze manufacturing processes, materials and manufacturing costs and create transparency about cost structures. You already identify potential savings in the product development phase and accompany their implementation. You conduct benchmarking and make-or-buy analyses and guide action recommendations. You will soon be involved in development projects to exploit innovation potential. You support value engineering initiatives and product cost management. Strategic indirect purchasing You develop and implement product group strategies for defined areas of indirect purchase. You carry out tenders, tender analyses and contract negotiations on your own. You identify and implement sustainable cost optimization. You analyze supplier structures and develop existing supplier portfolios. You build strategic supplier relationships and develop them in the long term. You implement standards and harmonize specifications as well as needs. You control and monitor relevant purchase figures.

You have a successfully completed study in the field of economic engineering, mechanical engineering, business management and a comparable qualification. Ideally, you have experience in strategic purchasing, project purchasing, cost engineering or comparable functions. You are characterized by pronounced analytical thinking and a very good cost and market understanding. You can analyze and prepare complex technical and economic relationships in a structured manner. You work self-employed, structured and earnings-oriented. You are convinced by handling, communication strength and secure access to internal and external contacts. You have good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
