Technical Editor (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) in Engineering

Place: Dresden

Your core activities include the creation and continuous optimization of technical documentation, such as operating and maintenance instructions, spare parts lists and assembly manuals. You work autonomously and take responsibility for the content created and their time, budget and quality development. You will also agree with the engineering team. The product data is collected, processed and created by you, on the basis of production documents. You work on internal and external comments independently. In addition, ensure the quality and completeness of your own created documents and prepare the pre-print for format adjustments.

You have completed their studies or completed vocational training in technical editors, technical communication, technical journalism or art related fields. You could also gain first professional experience in the field of technical editorial. In doing so, you could use their sound knowledge of relevant standards and laws to create technical documentation. We presuppose that German language skills in word and writing as well as good English skills are flowing. Your technical understanding, your high level of self-initiative and your creative workings complete your profile.
