Number: MER0003YHO We are responsible for all MB-Cars seats from Smart to S-Class: We are professionals for comfort, wrinkles, leather and silent adjustment. The Team Fondsitz is responsible for the development of the second and third seat rows of GLE/GLS, and the next GLB generation. In addition, we also support the technological development of all artificial leather in all seats. For the further development of these materials, we are looking for a working student who strengthens our team. We are a large, colorful team with different backgrounds. Tasks: Together with you, we want to make our material fit for the future. You will support our team in both strategic material selection and testing and release. Your tasks in detail: Support in defining the development direction with respect to maturity, cost performance, sustainability, look and feel

Coordination Seat Pattern Design together with our workshop and design

Establishing test plans and schedules for implementation

Creating roll-out plans of new materials

Testing (robot test, continuous running in the vehicle, further...)

Competition analysis of references, as well as procurement of competition vehicles

Determining new materials on the market

The activity can begin from March 2026.

Study programme in the field of material development, chemistry, textile technology or art related, as well as previous experience in this field

Affinity for the living room Interior

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office

Analytical thinking and strategic working

Team skills and communication skills

Enthusiasm (for yourself and others)

Safe appearance and strength of conviction
