As a “IT Field Support Specialist” at Oerlikon at our site in Salzgitter OR Bielefeld, you play an important role in keeping our colleagues connected and productive - with practical support, intelligent solutions and a strong focus on excellent service.

Your role in our team You are the first contact point for IT support on site (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals). Analysis and Solution of Incidents and Processing of Service Requests as part of the agreed SLAs Installation, configuration and updating of systems, applications and operating technology Ensuring a stable network connection and support of production-oriented IT systems Support and training of users:inside for a smooth user experience Documentation of processes, systems and solutions as well as maintenance of inventory and ITSM tools Compliance with IT security standards and active participation in improvements of our IT processes Cooperation with Field Support, Service Desk and global IT teams for seamless service provision Support in IT projects and knowledge transfer within 1st level support

At least 3 years of professional experience in IT support Funded knowledge of IT processes and tools for incident management Practical skills for troubleshooting and hardware maintenance Experience in supporting deployment and rollout projects Embossed communication skills in handling end users and international IT teams Excellent skills in cooperation, interpersonal relations and customer service High resilience: ability to track multiple priorities and work under pressure readiness to regularly travel within the region and occasional work in the evening/weekend Very good knowledge of English (level C1)
