Systems Engineer - Cyber Security (m/f/d)

Your new tasks:

• Requirements in our especially English-language navigation bridge system projects in the field of cyber security are recorded, analyzed and mapped by appropriate system elements.
• You will check the internal, technical feasibility of functional and non-functional requirements and create both cyber security management plans and the resulting security design.
• When designing complex integrated navigation bridge systems, you support your cyber security expertise and ensure the feasibility of the required curing measures.
• You develop customer-specific cyber security measures and you’ll start concrete steps to harden and configure Linux, Windows and network components.
• You work in interdisciplinary teams from the fields of systems, software and test engineering and actively participate in workshops with some international customers.
• When preparing and implementing security audits and certifications on the system, you are the designated contact person.

You'll fit us if:

• You have professional experience in the analysis and interpretation of complex systems related to cyber security, ideally paired with a technical (ingenieurs) study.
• Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and script languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Ruby and Python to make our system solutions reliable and secure.
• You have knowledge in the field of server architecture, virtualization (e.g. VM merchandise, Hyper-V), identity management and network components (e.g. switches, routers, firewall), which you can bring into project events and master the standard tools from pentesting to check.
• You are already familiar with the relevant standards, standards and processes related to cyber security.
• You are sure to communicate in English, like working proactively in an agile team and are innovative.
• You are familiar with system and software designs and you have ideally already knowledge of how to deal with DOORS, Crucible and Jira.
