Software Developer (m/w/d)

Tasks:

• Development and optimization of planning and optimization algorithms for air traffic control systems
• Development and maintenance of software components to predict flight profiles and flight times (Trajectory Predictor)
• Implementation of developer and module tests to ensure software quality and reliability
• Support for internal projects in the integration and application of the developed software components
• Close cooperation with adjacent development and project teams to continuously develop solutions

Requirements:

• Complete study of computer science or comparable qualification with experience in object-oriented software development
• Very good knowledge of the development of Linux applications with C (ideally C14 or later)
• Secure handling of Linux, Windows and version management systems
• Analytical, structured and quality-oriented working methods as well as strong team and communication skills
• Ideally knowledge of software architecture, CI/CD, parallel programming and experience with unit and automated tests or algorithmic optimization methods
