Financial Assistant (m/f/d)

As Financial Assistant (m/w/d), you support our Finance team in all areas of ongoing accounting and monthly, quarterly and annual accounts. You are also actively contributing to the management of our company through your analysis and reporting. You are working with the creation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB and US-GAAP. You support ongoing financial accounting, in particular in the areas of debitors, creditors and property accounts. You analyze margins, deviations and trends to support management. You carry out voting, for example, intercompany voting or account voting. You'll start reports and evaluations for internal and external stakeholders. You support tax issues, especially in German VAT and income tax law. You actively contribute to the optimization of accounting processes. You communicate with auditors, tax advisors and internal departments. You work with our local financial team.

You have a bookkeeping background with Bachelor degree or related commercial training. You bring three to five years of professional experience in these areas in the international environment. You have well-founded knowledge of HGB and US-GAAP accounting. You have good knowledge of German tax law, especially in the field of turnover tax. You have advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and in ERP systems, ideally proALPHA. You speak German and English fluently in word and writing. Your key skills: You communicate clearly, convincingly and present content securely at different levels. You bring analytical thinking and a pronounced understanding of numbers. You work independently, structured and precise. You convince by planning and organizational talent as well as your ability to effectively set priorities. You are detailed, flexible and a real team player – also in international and dynamic work environments.
