Deputy Head of Department for Company Pensions (m/f/d)

You support the management of the department in the technical and disciplinary leadership, the operational planning and development of the employees, as well as in strategic and economic decisions and budget planning. In order to increase and expand the reporting and development of key figures for controlling the department, you also work with internal and cross-departmental projects and working groups, if necessary also in a leading role. Changes in laws, collective agreements, jurisdiction and other regulatory requirements observe, evaluate and communicate with you in terms of their impact on the department and accompany their implementation. As a contact person for internal and external bodies, in particular revision, risk management, data protection and external auditors, you support the department in technical and organizational issues. For selected professional topics and processes of occupational retirement, you take responsibility and ensure their proper and timely processing. Continuous training, digitization and optimization of the processes and IT systems in the occupational pension system are actively involved. In addition, you contribute to the further development of effective quality assurance and internal control system (IKS) as well as to the identification and evaluation of professional and operational risks. You will also work on demanding issues of occupational pensions, in particular in the fields of pension management, performance calculation, reporting procedures and tax and social security law.

You have a successfully completed study, preferably with a mathematical, scientific or economic focus or a comparable qualification and ideally with relevant professional experience in occupational age care. Knowledge of the technical and legal, tax and social insurance frameworks of occupational pensions is of advantage. First experience in technical and disciplinary staff management as well as in project and process management, as well as a strong understanding of quality, risks and control mechanisms. You work independently, structured and responsibly, follow acquired topics bindingly up to completion and are characterised by self-initiative and problem-solving competence. Embossed analytical and conceptual skills allow you to develop and understand complex facts in a structured manner. In addition to a secure handling of the current MS Office applications, you bring a high affinity to digital processes and IT-supported workflows. Your high social competence, in particular authenticity, empathy and communication strength, combine with a pronounced service orientation.
