For ProMinent GmbH we are looking for a Director Industry Development Water Treatment (m/w/d).

With increasing experience, there is a concrete opportunity to take on further responsibility and to carry out further development steps within the ProMinent Group.

Business development and market analysis: You continue to expand existing global business areas, analyze the global market and competition environment in the field of water treatment and identify new business opportunities and markets together with our strong international team. Strategic growth: In close cooperation with the management, you develop global strategies for business development in the field of water and implement them. Head of Department and Development: You conduct and build the Industry Development Department for Water strategically and conceptually. You will be in close contact with the Regional Sales Directors and the local management of our subsidiaries. Industrial strategy and cluster responsibility: You are responsible for the development and implementation of the global industrial strategy Water in close cooperation with the VP Global Sales and Customer Services as well as product management and marketing. Network care: You extend and maintain our network to important customers and partners in the field of water in close cooperation with sales. Team Leadership & Community Building: You lead the international team in the field of water and organize joint strategic meetings. In addition, you are responsible for the global product analysis and marketing of our water portfolio. Budget responsibility: You bear the international responsibility for defined budgets and results.

Academic background: You have completed their studies in an engineering field, preferably in water engineering, in the business sector or a comparable subject – at least Bachelor, ideally Master or Diploma. Professional experience: You bring at least 10 years of experience in sales or industry development in a comparable internationally oriented position or in the consulting environment with a comparable focus – ideally in the field of technical, declaration-related products with respect to business development. Industry knowledge: You have deeper industry and product knowledge in the field of water and water projects. Sales-oriented and strategic personality: You work structured and analytically and have experience in the development of multi-value-focused strategies. You are also able to unlock new sales opportunities and identify efficiency improvements in the existing portfolio. Communication strength: You convince with strong communication and negotiation skills and social strength – also at international level. Management competence: You have leadership experience and the ability to motivate and guide a team, ideally in an international matrix organization. Language skills & mobility: You speak German and English fluently, another foreign language is of advantage. We require international travel readiness (30–40 %).
