Head of System Management (Electricity and Gas Networks) (m/w/d)*

In order to strengthen our team of Schleswig-Holstein Netz GmbH, we are looking for a head of system management (electricity and gas networks) (m/w/d)* at the next possible time for our Rendsburg site. The job can be carried out in full time or within the framework of a job sharing. Please apply until 05.06.2025.

You run and develop three teams with a total of 80 employees. You take responsibility for managing, monitoring and controlling the electrical high-voltage and medium-voltage networks as well as the high-pressure and medium-pressure gas networks throughout the HAW Group network. In addition, you implement the technical-operational timetable management with your team as part of the flexibility management process. You have the operational responsibility for network security management, decommissioning management, network rebuilding strategy and coordination in crisis situations. In addition, you are responsible for the overall strategic development of switching and network control points, road map management and operational planning at four locations, as well as the strategy for sustainable system stability. You are an impulse generator and designer for the further development of the team and take over the leading role in the conceptual and strategic development of the system management for the new energy system – from high-voltage to perspective low-voltage networks – as well as the future system management of the gas networks (optional heat networks). You carry out cross-group-wide activities and carry out group projects together with other E.ON companies. You have a successfully completed (specialized) university degree in (economic) informatics, (economic) engineering or natural sciences or a comparable training. You bring multi-year professional and leadership experience and have extensive experience in operating network business. You have very good knowledge of the system behavior of the equipment used in the electricity and gas network and controllable production units. Ideally, you have good knowledge of the energy industry, especially of flexibility management and energy balance. You show a high degree of self-initiative and promote the continuous improvement of processes and system security. You show a pronounced business and earnings orientation and consistently implement projects with hands-on mentality and design will. You have a high understanding and a pronounced analytical ability to think, question the status quo and proactively promote changes. You have very good knowledge of German and English, perform convincingly, have enforcing power and can present complex facts in general. You are open to digital change and new working methods and you are inspired and inspired by others with your passion for these new technologies. You are a team player, have fun working together across corporate boundaries and networking to develop the system management together.
