Facility Management Employee – Database Maintenance, Programming and Application Support (m/f/d)

The University of Bayreuth with its family campus is one of the largest employers in the region. In order to strengthen our team in Central Technology (ZT), we are looking for a dedicated and technically versed personality, which supports, develops and actively contributes to the digitization of our processes. The central technology of the University of Bayreuth is with 6 units and a total of approx. 130 persons responsible for the technical operation and the care and management of all buildings, external installations and technical infrastructure facilities throughout the university. At the next possible time, a position is to be occupied as (m/w/d) Facility Management – Database Management, Programming and Application Management

Database Care & Administration Maintenance, updating and quality assurance of our facility management database, implementation of extension projects Monitoring of data integrity and implementation of plausibility checks Programming & Automation Creation and optimization of queries, evaluations and reports Development of smaller tools, scripts and applications for process optimization Automation of recurring data processing processes (imports/exports) Support and further development of interfaces to other systems (e.g. ERP) User support & support Support for internal users in dealing with the FM database Creation of training documents and implementation of short user training

Complete technical or IT-related training (e.g. specialist informatics, technicians, database administrator) or comparable qualification First experiences in IT support or system administration Programming skills and SQL database knowledge desirable Structured, careful and self-sponsored work, as well as pronounced quality awareness Teamability, communication strength and service orientation Interest in technical building data and facility management processes driving licence class B
