We are looking for a full-time (39.83 hours/week = 100 %) at the next possible time Architect/in/in/in/in/in/an/in/in/in/in/a/n with a comparable degree (m/w/d) The Department of Infrastructure Building Management is part of the Department of Construction and Building Management and is part of the central university administration of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB). With over 100 fixed employees, the department covers a wide range of tasks. The core tasks include home master services, a large part of the cleaning services on the campus and security tasks. Complete university degree (TH/FH) as an architect or civil engineer or in a comparable field (FH, BA or University) Insufficient professional experience of more than three years in an engineering activity with sound planning competence Experience in the planning and implementation of public construction measures in Germany, ideally including independent implementation of construction permit procedures Comprehensive knowledge in public building law (construction regulations, fire protection standards, STLB construction, workplace guidelines, HOAI, VOB, VOL, VgV, procurement and contract law, VHB, DIN standards) very good oral and written expressiveness in the German language, required for intensive communication with authorities, offices, scientists and various interest groups as well as in dealing with technical facts and terms (at least on C1 level) Building rights according to § 67 para. 3 No 2 BauO NRW (2018) is an advantage Secure handling of MS Office standard software as well as quick understanding when learning new software applications (e.g. CAFM, OTRS ticket system) Experience in the construction line is advantageous Experience in creating performance directories is desirable Experiences in the fields of pollutant remediation (Asbest, PCB, KMF), construction in stock/construction in operation, laboratory construction Social competence and safe occurrence to user representatives Proactive, structured and independent working with responsibility Reliability and teamability Communication strength, negotiation and organisational skills, commitment and service orientation Security in logging and in time and cost control English knowledge is advantageous, but not necessarily necessary Driving class B (former class 3)
